Fermanagh and Omagh District Council have organised a walking festival encapsulating the Cuilcagh Mountain area.

Guided walks will include:

  • Cuilcagh mountain trek for adults departing at 9 am
  • Bilingual walk with Irish language and English suitable for families starting at 10 am
  • Family Scavenger Hunt through the Cladagh Glen at 2 pm, where participants will meet people from the past, make their own fossil, search for mini-beasts and much more. The family walk will be held in the Marble Arch Nature Reserve from 2:00pm- 4:00pm (Meeting point Marble Arch Caves Visitor’s Centre). Why not come along and meet some people from the past, search for fossils, discover tree trunk inhabitants and much much more – all free of charge.

This is an outdoor event and warm, waterproof clothing is essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately the Nature Reserve is not suitable for pushchairs.
